Michael Carrozzo is a respected Army veteran, legal professional, and community leader based in Santa Barbara, California. A graduate of UCLA and Loyola Law School, Michael began his career in private legal practice before answering the call to serve his country. In 2004, he joined the United States Army, where he rose to the rank of Major in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG). During his military career, Michael was stationed at the National Training Center and served with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, providing legal counsel to service members and command staff. His time in uniform earned him multiple U.S. Army medals and strengthened his lifelong values of discipline, leadership, and service. Following his honorable discharge, Michael returned to Santa Barbara and continued contributing to his community through public service and education. He worked with the Santa Barbara District Attorney’s Office, where he handled a broad range of cases with professionalism and integrity. Later, he taught at the Santa Barbara School of Law, mentoring aspiring attorneys and sharing his experience in both civilian and military law. Throughout his career, Michael has been recognized for his commitment to veterans’ advocacy, receiving commendations from a U.S. Congressman and state legislators for his work supporting the Veterans Treatment Court program.
